Today is amazing. Today is the day know as Star Wars Day. Well, yesterday it was Free Comic Book Day for me, but still...anyhow, Star Wars is amazing. I want you all to know that. If you haven't seen them, go away. If you haven't seen any of the Star Wars movies or the animated series, leave right now. If you have seen either of those, please stay and proceed to read.
Throughout all the years the franchise has been around, it has created so many worlds and places that we want to go to. It's also disappointed us with prequels, but that doesn't matter right now. Be proud that Luke Skywalker does the voice of the Joker. From Darth Vader's
, to the Pope resembling Palpatine.
Star Wars is amazing. So, may the fourth be with you! P.S. (George Lucas is a b*tch)
Any of my fellow Final Fantasy fans will recognize this character as Tifa Lockhart. If you read my blog, you will know I do top 10s. Figure out this hint. -Gaming is Power
Hello, my faithful readers! It saddens me to say that I will not be posting as much from now until June 13th. That point is very important, and almost immediately after that, I will begin posting so much more frequently. Thank you all for complying with this. I will still post, but it won't be as common. I apologize for the delay. -Gaming is Power
Super Mario 3D World was a great game that was released on the Wii U, and thanks to Miiverse, many people openly share their opinions about it. The levels are nothing short of memorable, and the music, new enemies, and playable characters are great. In my opinion, I liked playing as Peach the most. For this post, you're going to see quite a bit of Peach.
Something that I absolutely loved about this game was the relationship between the characters and their powerups. There are CAT powerups. You can seriously be a cat. This, in a Mario game, was astounding. Even Bowser gets a kitty-powerup! I'd love to see this as an alternate costume in the next Smash Bros.
The game brings in new royalty due to the fact that both Rosalina and Peach are playable. Peach is able to fly, just like in Super Mario Bros. 2/Doki Doki Panic!. I found this to be great. Nintendo took old concepts and implemented them into a new game. The series is pulling a Zelda, and I like it. You would be surprised with how fascinating this game is with new characters. You've seen Mario, Luigi, and even Toad in power ups. But Peach? We've never seen Peach! Now, you can see Peach with a White Tanooki Suit! By the way, it's the most amazing I have ever seen the character. I practically bought this game just for the power ups. I'm Shyleaf33, and in the future, giving you this information ahead of time, I will be making more videos with my friend, Julianator41. With my recent purchase of Injustice: Gods Among Us on the Wii U, I of course had to get some DLC. I had some money left over from my Little Inferno purchase, so I bought Batgirl. Check out some pics!
Batgirl is a great hero from DC Comics, and being playable in Injustice is amazing. I was so excited about this!
I love the character model for Batgirl. I was pretty darn impressed, and I'm a long time Bat-family fan. When it comes to the Batman franchise, I know nearly everything.
The finisher! THE AMAZING FINISHER! When I first did Batgirl's finisher I was outrageously impressed. She attaches to elastic cables to the enemy's chest, flies into the air, and let's go. After that, the enemy is whipped towards the ground and then turned into a cripple by Batgirl landing on their back. Buy this game. Buy Batgirl. -Gaming is Power
The glorious world of Pokemon was introduced to me through the anime, and I have to say, wow, it was amazing. I still love this anime, and even though I don't watch it nearly as much as I used to, I still like it enough to have favorite characters. So, here are my Top 10 Favorite Pokemon Anime Characters.
NUMBER 10: TEAM ROCKET! AND THEY'RE IN YOUR FACE! Yeah, I know, two characters. The reason I put them both as number 10 is because they are extremely cool, and they are always by each other. Plus, they spawned a ton of really weird fan-art and fan-fiction. Make of this all you will, but let me tell you, I don't like it. No sir. Not one bit.
NUMBER 9: Iris? Who? Yeah, I know. Black and White wasn't the best Pokemon series. Before you criticize me more than you have, just remember; Iris is afraid of Ice Pokemon. This brought something to the series that was both dark and comedic.
NUMBER 8: Gary...useless friggin' Gary...gosh, I hate Gary. He's terrible. He's so annoying that I've placed him at number 8. He's still cool though.
NUMBER 7: Lt. Surge looks like a combination of Guile and Duke Nukem. I have to say, he's pretty darn cool, though.
NUMBER 6: Candice is a gym leader from Sinnoh, and I like her. When I saw Candice on the show I thought "Hey, maybe I can do Ice Types, too. AND I WAS RIGHT!
NUMBER 5: NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERD!
NUMBER 4: Professor Rowan is amazing. That mustache. That hair. HE IS AMAZING!
NUMBER 3: The grand poobah of Team Galactic, Cyrus! The great Diamond and Pearl games is where he leads them. Huh. Come to think of it, poobah does not sound menacing. THE DARK OVERLORD, CYRUS!
NUMBER 2: I want to be this man. BROCK! Brock is an amazing character, and he's a womanizing jerk. Either way, I still want to be him. He's the Johnny Bravo of Pokemon.
NUMBER 1!!!: Take a look at my favorite character! DAWN! Dawn was great in the games, and when she popped up in the show, I was so happy with it. So, that finishes this off. This has been my top 10 favorite Pokemon anime characters. Thanks for reading! I'm Shyleaf33, and remember, -Gaming is Power
With the recent Nintendo Direct and them completely smacking us in the face with the character hammer, I noticed Sheik look a bit...better. Sheik is a character that is constantly changing throughout the Smash Bros. series with both gender and ranks among others. Sheik is one of my best characters to play as in Brawl though, and with her being playable in the upcoming Smash Bros. game, I think we should go back in time and take a look at Sheik through the ages.
This is the brand new HD appearance of Sheik. All I have to say is "Sweet Baby Shenron!" This is amazing! I thought I was excited already, but all of this really shows what Masahiro Sakurai is doing to the series. I am impressed.
The appearance of Sheik before this was in Brawl, and that is when I began using Sheik as my main. Swapping between Sheik and Zelda only at the beginning and when I respawned, I was amazing with this fighter/ninja-girl. This appearance was based off of Twilight Princess, which was odd, because Sheik doesn't even appear in that! Thanks alot Miyamoto for really confusing me!
The Smash that came before, as I call it! SUPER SMASH BROTHERS MELEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Amazing, right? Sheik made her first appearance in the Smash Bros. franchise here, and was pretty impressed with how they drafted Sheik from Ocarina of Time to Melee. With that being said, you can assume that the first appearance of Sheik was...
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time! Sheik, member of the Sheikah tribe, and one heck of a Batman when it comes to disappearing. Sheik used Deku Nuts to her advantage when it came to disappearing, and was pretty darn skilled with a harp. Towards the end of the game, it is revealed that Sheik is in face Princess Zelda! This even surprised me! It was a huge "Samus is a girl!" slap to the face. Something nobody would ever expect. Well, this has been Sheik Through the Ages. I'm Shyleaf33 and remember, -Gaming is Power
A couple weeks ago, I purchased an issue of Ghost Rider. This is from 1993, and I think it's pretty sweet. Check out the cover and some of the panels!
This is pretty sweet. You have Mephisto, you have Hell, you have fire and death. The art for this was amazing, and all the demons that popped up was great.
My gosh, look at that cover! The art! The drawing! THE COST FOR CANADIANS! I'm so happy with this. Anyways, thanks for looking! -Gaming is Power
Ah, yes, Felecia. We all know the cat-lady of Darkstalkers and Capcom itself. Some might say that Felecia represents the series more than Morrigan does, and I have to say, I agree. While Felecia is an oddball of fighting games, and would be great in Smash Bros. 4, she just wouldn't fit. Here's why.
Felecia is WAY too weird to play as. She may have her attacks from other fighting games, and even the Electric Thunder attack, but I just don't see how we'd be able to play as her and win. The moveset is meant for games like Street Fighter and Darkstalkers, but if you have people jumping all over the place, it gets difficult.
To let you know, there are numerous reasons of why she can't appear. I love the character, but I mean, hey, I'm just doing what I do. Another reason of why Felicia cannot appear in Smash is because Capcom already has a representative. As much as it kills me to say it, there will be no Street Fighter, Darkstalkers, or even Resident Evil characters popping up at all. We have Mega Man already, just be glad Capcom is here!
While Felicia is a great character, and as much as I love playing as her, it just can't happen. Nintendo would need permission from Capcom, and it would just not end well. Masahiro Sakurai is doing his best to please the fans at the moment, but not everything can be done. It would turn into a really hairy situation. (this isn't because a cat-person is involved)
Regarding Felicia's...attire...well, it's the same with Wreck-it-Ralph. In Wreck-it-Ralph, an amazing movie, Cammy and many other Street Fighter characters make cameos. Cammy is changed from having painted camouflage on her legs to wearing green tights, making her a bit more kid friendly. If Felicia were to appear, her top might be fixed to make her more conservative, which we all know would anger the fans. To be perfectly honest, I don't care that much because I know for a fact that nobody else from Capcom is popping up. It would annoy the fans if they changed her appearance. I mean, hey, take a look at Sonic Boom. Well, this has been reasons of why Felecia will never be in Smash Bros. I'm Shyleaf33, and remember, -Gaming is Power
Anybody pay attention to Mario Kart 8? No? Well, then. Huh. Might as well get this out of the way, then. Here are my top 10 favorite Mario Kart rides!
NUMBER 10: The Birthday Girl! Debuting in Mario Kart 7 on the 3DS, I instantly fell in love with it. It goes along perfectly with Peach, Daisy, and Rosalina. The chicks of the franchise!
NUMBER 9: How can you not love a kart called "The Wild Wing"? I mean, seriously.
NUMBER 8: The Daytripper! Ah, this reminds me of English music. DAYTRIPPER, YEAH!
NUMBER 7: The Offroader is such an amazing vehicle. Perfect for going offroad. In case you can't tell. Seems pretty self-explanatory.
NUMBER 6: The Honeycoupe! It's so adorable. Except for the fact that there is an obese mustachioed freak in there.
NUMBER 5: THE MINI BEAST! ERMAGHERD IT'S SER KYURTE!
NUMBER 4: The Booster Seat is amazing. Why? Because it is perfect for adorable short characters. Like Toad!
NUMBER 3: The Super Blooper! Bloopers are one of my favorite Mario enemies, so being able to drive them...ah, amazing game.
NUMBER 2: In Mario Kart 7, you can play as the Queen Bee. You can also drive a kart that looks very similar to a bee! It looks beautiful in the game. The only problem is that it is super distracting. With those stripes and whatnot. Harrumph.
NUMBER 1!!!: Observe! The Flame Flyer! My favorite Mario character is Waluigi, the Flame Flyer looks swag with him in it, I rest my case. This has been my top 10 favorite Mario Kart rides. -Gaming is Power
